As part of Catholic Schools Week Barna N.S. held a very successful Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday last, January 29th.
The aim of Grandparents’ Day is to celebrate the wonderful gift that grandparents are to children, families and the communities to which they belong.
The celebration in Barna included a tin whistle performance by the children, a prayer service and Bingo. Guests were then able to view a gallery of the children’s artwork while enjoying a cup of tea and cake.
