Science Week – Nov. 2020

Science week was held 9^th to the 13^th of November. The Junior Room took part in different activities throughout the week. They made chemical reactions which caused their volcanoes to erupt! There was great excitement watching this. The children then took to Aviation Science, constructing airplanes and helicopters out of paper. They then tested their paper aeroplane’s flight ability. They all flew  ….with one even flying out through the window!!

The Senior room took part in the annual Mary Immaculate College Brain Teasers Maths and Science Challenge. We normally attend this even every year but this year, the Maths Department from Mary Immaculate College was very kind in sending all the resources to us so we could host the event in school. We had lots of fun playing “Who wants to be a Millionaire”, Suduko & Card Game challenges.
