Barna NS is one of 35 primary schools to be chosen to take part in the LEAF Initiative for schools.
Learning about Forests (LEAF) rekindles in students a desire to engage more with their natural surroundings.
Through interactive learning and field trips the programme reconnects the next generation with their environment, educating them to be more concious of protecting it and instilling in students a sense of ownership of the natural world that surrounds them.
